Payment is based on how many hours of monitoring time are accrued at the end of the month. To be reimbursed for the monitoring time, the phone icon should turn green by the end of the month.
However, if there’s no two attempts to call the patient (which will be logged on the patient chart) then the amount of monitoring time on that patient will be deducted from that last paycheck.
If the patient is not not responsive to calls, it is suggested texting them or emailing them and try to set up a call.
